Already proven as a talented, sought after songwriter and revered platinum-selling artist, Marsha Ambrosius is meeting the next challenge in her already impressive musical career by reinventing herself as a solo artist with her J Records debut disc LATE NIGHTS & EARLY MORNINGS. Fans first got a taste of Marsha’s talent as the singing half of the duo Floetry. Over the years, Marsha has stayed relevant as an artist via touring, writing/producing and mixtapes like 2007’s Neo Soul is Dead, 2008’s Yours Truly and 2010’s Yours Sincerely. Now at a strong place mentally and physically, Marsha’s ready to present her sound to the world. The first single, “Hope She Cheats on You (With a Basketball Player),” is an anthem that women and men can relate to.

SKYZOO-Skyzoo has worked on mixtapes with 9th Wonder and the late great Jay Dilla
o: He was nicknamed Skyzoo by his parents after the Skyy disco song (his middle name is Skyler). He began rapping at the age of nine and went on to work with producers Jay Dee and 9th Wonder, releasing several mixtapes in the hope of securing a record deal. He lost to Jin on 106 & Park freestyle contest, but went on to have tracks used as both the theme to ESPN’s Whiplash TV and the soundtrack to a Guinness advert, and set up his own Custom Made Entertainment Company. Skyzoo worked with 9th Wonder on his debut album, Present Cloud 9: The 3 Day High, which reportedly took only three days to record.
 
K.MICHELE-Newcomer K Michelle stays true to herself by offering what she calls "honest music
: The decision to become a singer/songwriter wasn’t an easy one for K. Michelle. Although she earned a musical scholarship to attend Florida A&M University, she eventually switched her major to Biology and toyed with becoming a nurse. “I didn’t want to major in music,” says the 24 year old. However, she never stopped singing. “My whole time at college I played the piano and sang. I even won Miss FAMU.” However, it wasn’t until she graduated college that she decided to
 make music her main focus.
